The primary series of Ashtanga yoga is a set of sequences designed to bring strength, flexibility and endurance to the body. It is designed to purify the body through breath and to invoke stillness of the mind. In this strong class, Megan Welcher will teach the fundamentals of Ashtanga yoga's primary series in a sage and supportive way. Modifications or challenges will be provided as to make the practice beneficial to the beginner or to the most experienced.
